The Week 6 ends with two diametrically opposite Recipes but bound with a common thread.. that of health & nutrition. Suman Tripathi a homechef comes to Sehat Ki Rasoi and shows Geetika how good old Lauki or white gourd can be stuffed into Parathas and turned into a delicious dish with a heavy punch of health. Lauki being nutritious, good for digestion, healthy for heart and low calorific can be excellent for all ages. But usually this vegetable is slow cooked into a simple vegetable curry without much spices or stewed with some onions, garlic or added in Daal or Sambhar and sometimes turned into Koftas. People also make Lauki ka Raita or Lauki ke Phool ki Sabzis. Sehat Ki Rasoi has shown Lauki Do Pyaza and Lauki in Flaxseed giving exotic and nutritious twist to otherwise mundane veggi. The other dish is Banana Bread which Suman Tripathi with the help of Geetika makes in the Kent Bread Maker, creating fluffy, tasty bread. Health expert Kompal Kapoor Gaur gives some fine tips to remain healthy by her ‘ Khao Jeeyo’ Challenge where she advises not just to Eat Drink & Be Merry but to Eat & Live Healthy & Happy.
